The seller shows this item as fitting the Hyundai Tucson; however, it is way too long, both in front and in back. In fact, the front was so long that I stuffed it into the engine compartment to hold it down. The biggest problem was securing the rear portion as the length was too long the straps if tied to the wheels would be insecure and pull the cover forward.The two straps that go through the door handles worried me as the plastic clip would bang against the vehicle in the wind. Seems would be better if there was something like felt on the backside. Better yet, maybe should use a 1/4" wide strap that one can put in the back of the door handle and let the door handle hold it in place.Also, maybe they should reinforce the areas where all the straps are attached to the coverAll of the ties that secure to the wheels have started to fray and come apart at the end ultimately making the ties shorter and harder to secure to the wheels. For that reason I probably would not buy the product again.This cover fits well on my old Toyota Solara and seems that its made of good material; but, the straps are so long and I just cannot find any way of fastening it securely onto the car. It looks like your supposed to(???) tie the straps together on the car someway but that's too awkward for me. I would give this 5 stars if the straps weren't so long and had some type of clips or hooks on the end of them or some way to fasten onto the body of the car.Being used in Florida, mostly against leaves, rain and birds. Tried on a few similar compact SUVs including a Mazda and a Rogue. The listing's pictures do not show the side straps - featuring plastic snap-buckles, which were a VERY welcome surprise.* I don't know if all versions of the cover have the same, so ask before assuming they do.*I would strongly suggest that they also add similar buckles to the front and rear straps, which would make deploying the cover, well, a snap. It would be very useful when it is just starting to rain.You get disc brake dust on your fingers when you tie down to the front wheels. Other than that, works great.It's ok but no instructions on suggestions of tieing it. It really didn't fit snug as I thought it would and had a tear in it. The ties were odd one longer than the other and made it harder to tie to the rimEssentially this product is "as advertised" and does the job. Mine suffered a very typical failure, normal for overseas manufacture...the tie down straps are light nylon mesh weave and not apparently all "sealed" to prevent fraying. I had one of the straps pull out of the cover seam on the first use due to the defect.Crummy because it meant I had to find a fix for it on the first use.Otherwise it performs adequately. Now I am just waiting for the next strap to fray out of the sewing. Ugh!Bought this for our 2005 Sebring to, believe it or not, keep a pesky Robin from attacking the mirrors and windows. It is lightweight and easy to put on the car. It did take two of us to put it on and tie it down. Fit was great. I really wanted to give it 5 stars but after a couple of high winds the seam where one of the straps was attached started ripping. It still works though, and now I will continue to use it to keep the sun out since the car sits outside.It perfectly fits Audi Q5, covers all the window, and keeps it clean during the winter snow. I don't have to brush anymore or use the chemical to remove the snow. It needs a couple of tries to get along with it. I live in northern Canada and appreciate this good purchase.I like the size of this cover. It covers entire head lights and tail lights. Good thing to protect plastic parts from UV. The elastic on the short edge works well too. 8 hooks came in the separate bag and I can put them on the cords in the length I want. This cover is lined with thin soft layer. Some stitches are rough but I don't think it's a problem. The material is thin which is great for putting it on and removing it off, folds small when it's stored.I'm mostly happy with it. The wind does get in under the cover even when the cover is tied down flat on my car, and blows up the cover. I was worried the over would blow away so for now I have pinched the front side parts of the cover into my front doors to prevent the wind from picking it up off the car. I'll have to find strong magnets to help keep it in place in the winter and rainy days so my car doesn't get wet inside. Otherwise great product.Side note: not magpie proof. Darn birds tore a hole in the middle of it, I don't know why they were on it in the first place.. teaching their young to fly maybe.. I bought a replacement cover and will look at getting some magpie deterrents.
